Agilent Bioanalyzer
The Bioscience group within Agilent Technologies planned to pre-announce a product at a prominent industry event in mid-September. In addition pre-announcing the microarray scanner product, they wanted to promote their other products.
Two weeks before the event, the Bioscience group contacted IntroDesigns to help them improve their image as a provider of "Solutions for Gene Expression Analysis" by creating a digital video to present at the industry event. The digital video would show how their custom microarrays, software, partnerships, Bioanalyzer product, reagents, procedures, and scanner work together.

Of the four primary factors that affect product launches (time, resources, quality, and scope), time was driving factor for this project.
From start to finish, this project had to be complete in two weeks.
The first week of the project focused on technical interviews with Bioscience representatives across the organization. After collecting appropriate documentation and graphic assets, IntroDesigns consolidated information from the interviews to create a storyboard for the program. After the client approved the storyboard, a shooting schedule was finalized.
The second week began with a day of on-site videotaping. The next two days included the production of graphics and animation. A first draft of the videotape was created and presented to product managers, legal representatives, R&D representatives, and marketing communications representatives.
At the end of the second week, revisions were made to the video based on the comprehensive feedback and a finished videotape (and digital video files on CD-ROM) were provided on time for the industry event.
The closing message in the video was "Accelerate the pace of discovery". IntroDesigns provided a comprehensive, quality video on an accelerated schedule.
Note: This project was done with Mark Hart as the project lead while working for IntroDesigns.
