EMCT
The EMCT: Electromagnetic Compatibility Tutorial was designed for engineers and electronics technicians responsible for electronic design. The application had to present the experience of an author that:
- Has been actively involved in the field of EMC for over 40 years
- Coined many of the terms used in EMC
- Served an international client base as an independent advisor
- Has been involved in the development of over one thousand designs
The finished application included:
- Over 500 screens (for the May 2001 version) and over 1200 screens (for the August 2002 version)
- Rich images (2D drawings including electrical schematics, graphs, 3D images, animations, and photos)
- An instructional design discipline that included learning objectives
- Demonstration versions available on CD-ROM and the Internet
- An Internet-based final exam to validate student performance. After student registration, the exam presented 25 questions from a pool of questions for each module. Individual feedback was provided that was based on student performance.
