OpLaunch® today announced that Mark Hart earned New Product Development Professional (NPDP) certification from the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA). This certification program formally recognizes knowledge, education, and experience in new product or service development.
Currently, the NPDP certification has been awarded to only a few hundred professionals worldwide. Of these, a small percentage focus on technology products. Hart specializes in the development and launch phases of new product development. Since 1983, Hart has contributed to the development and commercialization of technology products (such as measurement systems for scientists and engineers, software, computers, and training applications) that have become global leaders in their categories.

Since my time at HP, I've been part of product development and launch efforts at multiple companies. There is not a one-size-fits-all approach. There is not a guaranteed checklist. Experience with multiple NPD efforts plus an academic study enabled me to earn the NPDP certification."
